August...
Ok, I suck. I've got HUNDREDS of pic on my camera. Lots of stories in my head. No blog posts since JUNE...none for July...ugh... Maybe video blogging is the way to go? Put that on my list -- get new computer with web cam so I can do the video blog thing. Yes, just what I need, something else to figure out. I'm sure some of you know Daniel got me a video camera for Christmas. You know, record all those treasured memories. Well, he did a great job and got one with lots of bells and whistles. TOO MANY, I still haven't really figured it out.
Anyway, here's a pic from today. That's Shelby --napping in her crib like a big girl, and yep, that's Missy the Red Dog laying in there with her.
Here's some pictures from yesterday. Daniel & I bought this baby pool last year, not in anticipation of a baby human, but for the dogs to cool off in. Shelby is not fond of it, perhaps because the water is so darn cold. (The pool is in the shade, and the fan is blowing on it to keep the bugs from flying in...) We put in some toys and the fan blows them around, she seems to like watching them "swim" around. Of course, we even have her bucket that we can make a "waterfall" with. Of course, I'm the one making the waterfall, and since I'm the photographer, too, well, we don't have any pictures of the waterfall.
Lastly, here's a cute picture of Shelby from the weekend. She was cooling off at our Aunt's house. She had her first road trip Sunday -- even won a prize at our family reunion -- she was the youngest family memeber in attendance! What an honor!! I definately didn't think she'd be the youngest. (By the way, THANK YOU Aunt Margie -- the first and last stop on our first road trip! We greatly appreciated your beds, bathrooms and air conditioning!!) This picture was after cooling off and having a nap at Aunt Margie's.
Here's hoping I get more pictures posted and stories written down. What a shame that I haven't done better! Rest assured it's only because I/we are having such an amzing time getting to know our beautiful little girl! And, yes, we are still going through lots and lots of diapers.
